| Rocks and Minerals | Displays include a wide assortment of local rock samples as well as rock and mineral samples from around the world. | |
| Fossils | Both local and worldwide samples of fossil life are exhibited. | |
| ANIMAL LIFE | ||
| Birds | Specimens of a variety of bird life as well as many and diverse bird nests, eggs, and assorted feathers are on display. | |
| Mammals | Hides of deer, porcupine, skunk, and various rodents can be viewed. In addition, an assortment of animal bones are available for study. | |
| Insects | Various local and exotic insect specimens can be viewed. There is also an “insect zoo” for viewing live specimens. The homes of a variety of bees and other insects are included in the display. | |
| Reptiles, Amphibians, etc. | Various live specimens are exhibited. Snake skins and turtle shells enrich the exhibit. | |
| Ocean Life | Shell collections and other specimens of ocean life are periodically displayed in special exhibits. | |
| PLANT LIFE | ||
| Specimens of various seeds and cones as well as pressed leaves and flowers are displayed, and the grounds of the Town Center include a wide variety of native plants. | ||
