GEOLOGY
Rocks and Minerals Displays include a wide assortment of local rock samples as well as rock and mineral samples from around the world.  
Fossils Both local and worldwide samples of fossil life are exhibited.  
ANIMAL LIFE
Birds Specimens of a variety of bird life as well as many and diverse bird nests, eggs, and assorted feathers are on display.  
Mammals Hides of deer, porcupine, skunk, and various rodents can be viewed. In addition, an assortment of animal bones are available for study.  
Insects Various local and exotic insect specimens can be viewed. There is also an “insect zoo” for viewing live specimens. The homes of a variety of bees and other insects are included in the display.  
Reptiles, Amphibians, etc. Various live specimens are exhibited. Snake skins and turtle shells enrich the exhibit.  
Ocean Life Shell collections and other specimens of ocean life are periodically displayed in special exhibits.  
PLANT LIFE
  Specimens of various seeds and cones as well as pressed leaves and flowers are displayed, and the grounds of the Town Center include a wide variety of native plants.
